I was asked to create a series of animated banners to go at the top of the Commonwealth Games childrens site when it was held in Manchester.

I used the banners to pay homage to the cool track and field games that I grew up with on the ZX Spectrum...

...in fact, elsewhere on the site there are a few games that use the familiar old key tapping techniques!
