to any information held by public authorities.
This website for the Greater Manchester Police,
laid out how the general public could go getting
this data.
An interesting element of this site was that
it had to be accessible for blind or partially-sighted
people - a requirement that soon will be commonplace
following the Disability Discrimination Act.
Currently this site is one of only a handful
that meet this requirement in the UK. |
